I want to help make your online art purchasing experience a pleasure. If after reading this page you still have questions, please contact me. I'll be delighted to answer your questions. My desire is for you to have a seamless experience so you can enjoy the art you've acquired each time you gaze at it.  

Covid-19:  My print partner's production and delivery services are still available. They are following the CDC's safety guidelines, operating with minimal staff, and following social distancing. At this time, orders will take a little longer than usual to produce. As soon as your artwork ships, you'll get an email with tracking notification.

HOW DO YOU PACKAGE ARTWORK?  

All artwork is professionally packaged to insure safe delivery. My print partner uses variety of carriers including USPS, UPS, and others as needed to ship your fine art prints. In some cases, when an artwork is so large that standard packaging is insufficient, a crate will be used. When I ship original paintings and limited editions, I use UPS. In all cases, you will receive an email with tracking information. A signature will be required for delivery.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ARTWORK TO ARRIVE?  

Shipping time for original paintings: Original paintings are packaged and shipped directly to you from my studio in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Being such a rural area has its challenges (especially in winter). Typically I ship an order out within 1-3 days and it should arrive 3-10 days later in the 48-contiguous states as well as Alaska and Hawaii. 

Shipping time for hand-signed limited edition prints: These are also are packaged and shipped to you from my studio in the mountains of Western North Carolina. However, because these are limited, print production may take up to 10 days before I can ship it. Once I do, it should arrive 3-10 days later in the 48-contiguous states as well as Alaska and Hawaii. 

Shipping time for open edition fine art prints: My print partner normally processes your fine art print order and ships so that you receive it within 3-10 days. However, with social distancing requirements in the workplace, it may take up to two weeks. Please don't forget to make allowances for holidays, weekends, and unexpected weather conditions. We appreciate your patience.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST? 

Original paintings and signed limited edition prints ship from my studio in Western North Carolina via UPS Ground or 2-Day Air only. Rates start at $11.50 and go up depending upon the size of your shopping cart's subtotal. Most small to medium-sized artworks range from $12 - $80 to ship within the 48 states, Alaska, and Hawaii and will take from 3-10 days to arrive. Orders totaling $2,000 or more, as well as international orders, are quoted on request. 

All fine art prints ship from my print partner in Scotts Valley, California. Rates range from $6 - $450 to ship worldwide; shipping crates (if needed) are extra. Shipping rate is based on the size of your shopping cart's subtotal.

You will see your shipping charges in your shopping cart before you check out. 

Exceptions are: international orders for original paintings and limited edition prints, as well as orders totaling over $2,000. You'll get a notice advising you to request a shipping quote.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP? WHAT ABOUT VAT AND OTHER IMPORT FEES?    

We ship all around the world with the exception of countries on the U.S. official list of embargoed countries. Shipping outside the 48 contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii requires export paperwork and thus, special handling due to each country's import restrictions, VAT, and other fees. Shipping quotes are available  for orders over $2,000 as well as for orders shipping to international destinations. You are responsible for paying applicable taxes and duty upon receiving your ordered artwork. 

MY SHIPMENT ARRIVED DAMAGED? WHAT DO I DO? 

My print partner and I do our utmost to ensure that you order is packaged carefully and arrives safely at its destination. If your package arrives damaged, BEFORE OPENING IT, take a photo of the packaging, and if there is damage to the artwork PHOTOGRAPH THAT AS WELL, and send the images in an email along with your order number and purchase date. Keep all packaging and await for further instructions.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON RETURNS / EXCHANGES / REFUNDS? 

I want you to be happy with the art that you've purchased. I strive to be fair and do what I can to resolve any issues. 

To help you make a decision, you have tools on my site to see how a piece of art will look in your actual space. Use the "Live Preview" option (the most accurate) or the "Wall Preview" (a good approximation) you will find on each product page. To use "Live Preview" (Augmented Reality), you must be using a smartphone or tablet. See the image below to find those features.

As a result, because those tools are available to you, all sales are final, unless items have arrived damaged in transit or there has been a quality issue in the reproduction. I do not provide a refund based on customer preference. 

I do consider accepting returns for an original painting or a signed limited edition. These would be in exchange for a different original painting or a limited edition, for the same or greater purchase price. I'm happy to discuss this, please email me or call 1-855-588-1656. Many of my collectors often start off by collecting smaller works and later exchanging them for larger works. Note that any art work you ask me to exchange must be in pristine condition when it arrives at my studio.

My website accepts Apple Pay, credit cards, and PayPal. All pricing is in U.S. dollars. All product prices and shipping prices are subject to change without notice. (Changes are typically due to various fluctuations in currency, the cost of petroleum, and the cost of painting and shipping materials.)
